1,000 firms back campaign for better broadband in Lincolnshire
More than 1,000 businesses across Lincolnshire have backed a campaign to improve the county's broadband network.
But thousands more are being called upon to sign up to help demonstrate the need for super fast internet speeds.

A total of 1,015 county firms have stepped up to support the Broadband Means Business campaign, with almost half of those signing up since June alone.
The aim is now to reach 10,000 business sign-ups by December.

Simon Beardsley, chief executive at the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, which is spearheading the campaign with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and Institute of Directors (IoD), said: "Even if you already work in an area which has good broadband, this is a chance to support the wider community.
"You can also help those which operate in the so-called 'not spots'."
To support the campaign, visit www.onlincolnshire.org. Alternatively, you can fill in a form from either the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, the FSB or IoD.
The initiative is part of Lincolnshire County Council's wider plan to bring next-generation broadband to the county by 2015.
