18-year-old woman taken to hospital after Carholme Road collision
An 18-year-old woman is in a stable condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Lincoln.
Police were called to the junction of Carholme Road, The Avenue and Newland at 12.45pm today.
The woman was taken to Lincoln County Hospital by ambulance, where she is now in a stable condition.
Police arrived at the scene in several marked and unmarked cars and closed part of Carholme Road.

Traffic was backing up and was directed away from the incident by police at the Carholme Road junction.
The road was re-opened at around 1.30pm.
