50 calls to re-home puppies dumped in A46 layby near Lincoln

A kennel has received 50 calls from people interested in re-homing the five puppies and their mum that were dumped on the A46.

The puppies were discarded in a disintegrating cardboard box by a couple that had stopped in a layby for a picnic.

They handed the animals in to the Lincoln RSPCA shop and they were sent to Panton Kennels.

And since the Echo reported about the dogs looking for new homes, more than 50 people have expressed an interest.
