A SLEAFORD charity shop is calling for people to donate any unwanted Christmas presents to the store.

The Age UK shop in Southgate is accepting all kinds of donations from woolly jumpers to boxes of smellies.

Allyson Rollitt, shop manager, said: "By donating unwanted Christmas gifts to our shop people will be helping a great cause. The money raised through Age UK's shops goes to supporting the charity's vital work for older people, so we are urging everyone in the area to de-clutter their homes and make a real difference to an older person. We need quality stock and if you don't want it, we'll take it."

Open 362 days a year, Age UK's helpful staff and volunteers will accept all kinds of donations including women's, men's and children's fashion; home-wares; books; games and accessories. Collections can also be arranged in some areas - simply contact the shop to find out more.
