Aircraft crash lands near RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire
A small aircraft has crash landed at a field in Caythorpe Heath, just outside RAF Cranwell.
The Grob 115E Tutor plane was being used for training.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were called at 12.30m but were only on-scene for a short time, after which the incident was left in the hands of the RAF.
The two crew members on board were not injured.

“Perhaps "forced landing" or "emergency landing" would be more appropriate. It appears that the pilots had to land in a field and did so without crashing.”
