Lincoln City midfielder Alan Power could be out for up to three months after being stretchered off in the match against Alfreton Town.

Power was forced off just half an hour into Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat and a scan has revealed a partial rupture of the lateral ligament in his right ankle.

It could be December before he will be able to return to full training.

Andrew Boyce also limped out of the same game with a hyperextension of his left knee and joins a growing list of injured players.

Winger Adam Smith (hamstring) and defender Tom Miller (groin) are both out while Paul Robson is a doubt for Saturday's trip to AFC Telford United due to a buised bone in his foot.

Rob Duffy, who was stretchered off at Newport three weeks ago, has also suffered an ankle ligament injury which has led to severe bruising and bleeding into the joint capsule space meaning he will be out longer than expected.

Finally, Frazer Cobb remains on the sidelines with a knee problem and Conal Platt has spent the past week at Lilleshall, stepping up his rehabilitation from his broken leg sustained in February.

“Injury problems are certainly mounting now but sometimes it brings a team together and you see a more committed performance as a result! Im certainly hoping that is the case today... Power has not been at his best but we lack quality and depth in the middle of the park. We need to get Miller and Boyce back at the heart of the defence as soon as possible and get Smith out wide with a decent run of games. Duffy is also a different option for us when fit but it's not looking good for tomorrow”
