Alex Lowes and Lee Jackson face big weekend at Donington Park

In his grasp: Alex Lowes is on target to secure a British Superbike Showdown berth
After a second and a fourth at Cadwell Park last time out, Lowes is well placed to secure a top six spot and fight for the Superbike crown over the remaining three rounds at Assen, Silverstone and Brands Hatch.
The 21-year-old currently holds sixth position with 125 points. His biggest threats are Ian Lowry (119) and Nori Hagi (113), but their challenge has faded after loss of form and injury respectively.

It would be a surprise if Lowry or Haga got the better of Lowes, who is one of the form riders in the series at present.
But the WFR Honda pilot is refusing to take anything for granted.
"I have only done half the job, I have to make sure I am in there (the top six) after Donington, so a couple of podiums there would be nice," said Lowes.
It is also a big weekend for Skellingthorpe's Lee Jackson in the National Superstock 600 class.
The Chris Walker Race School Kawasaki rider won at Cadwell Park to close to within 25 points of leader Ben Burke.
