Alex can relax while Kiyo tries to cement Showdown place for Honda
While Alex Lowes heads to Donington Park with his place in the BSB Showdown already assured, it is a different story for his illustrious team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari.
The three-time British Superbike champion is set for a tense weekend at the Leicestershire track as he aims to cling on to his place in the top six and fight for the title at the final three rounds.
With a 32-point advantage over seventh-placed man James Westmoreland, Kiyonari's Showdown spot is his to lose.
However, sitting in fifth place going into the fourth-to-last round is certainly not what the Louth-based Samsung Honda team envisaged for the Japanese rider when they brought him back to the series.

"We are in the top six and we need to stay there. We improved at Cadwell and we need to work hard again."
