Alleged hammer attack victim Matthew Probert returns home
The man who was allegedly attacked with a hammer has left hospital and returned home.
Scunthorpe rugby player Matthew Probert returned home yesterday afternoon.
His mother, Joanne, took to social media site Facebook to announce the news.
She wrote: "Today rates up there as one of the best days of my life. Matthew Probert is home and on the mend everyone. Can't smile wide enough. X"

Matthew, 21, had been in hospital in Sheffield after allegedly being attacked with a hammer in Lincoln city centre shortly before 1am on Sunday, September 1.
Kris Bradley, 22, of Kent Street, Lincoln, has been remanded in custody charged with the attempted murder of 21-year-old Mr Probert.
