Alzheimer’s Society memory walk invite
An Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk is being organised in Market Rasen as a tribute to two women from the town who had dementia.
Michelle Boryszczuk died earlier this year at the age of 44, while Marion Scott died, aged 83, after going missing from her home in Market Rasen last December.
The walk is taking place on Sunday, September 8, at Market Rasen Racecourse.
Michelle’s husband Steve and Marion’s grandson Alex Stork are asking families and individuals from the county to step out for a few hours and raise money to help support people with dementia and their carers.

Steve Boryszczuk said: “The walk gives us the opportunity to really make a difference to those living with dementia and their carers. It’s a great opportunity for the whole family to spend a day out together while also raising money for such an important cause. I would encourage everyone to sign up today.”
The walk will head across the countryside and through woodland terrains. Walkers can choose between a three-mile and an eight-mile walk. Registration is at 9am and the walk starts at 10am. Dog walkers are welcome.
