Ambulance driver denies causing Boston road death
AN ambulance driver has pleaded not guilty to causing the death of a woman by careless inconsiderate driving.
Gareth Green, 63, of Nelson Way, Grimsby, appeared at Boston Magistrates Court accused of causing the death of Margaret Allsop, 75, on December 10.
Marie Stace, prosecuting, said that the ambulance had left the road after Green, who was driving, failed to negotiate a right hand bend on the A16, Sibsey at about 3am.
Mrs Allsop from Sutton-on-Sea was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ms Stace said: “Green said he was blinded by a glare from an oncoming car.
“For a moment he lost concentration.”
He will appear at Boston Magistrates Court for trial on September 16 at 10am.
