Andrew Boyce believes he is learning off his Lincoln City team-mates
Lincoln City defender Andrew Boyce is confident he is developing as a centre-back under the guidance of Nat Brown and Luke Foster.
Boyce is in his second season at Lincoln City having arrived from division below where he starred for fellow Lincolnshire side Gainsborough Trinity.
And with him playing his part in keeping two clean sheets in the Imps opening matches, the defender is confident working with experienced heads is helping develop his own game.
“Both Foster and Brown are experienced centre halves,” said Boyce. “Foster came from League One and playing for Preston and I’ve always done well playing alongside Brown.

“I feel I’m getting better with every game and every week and it is a help playing alongside them.
“I’m close to Brown and I travel in with Foster, they are good friends. Brown is always trying to help me. Foster is always talking to me and putting his view across. I feel like I’m learning.
“When I play alongside another centre half who is experienced and older I seem to do well. In the past I played with Gavin Cowan at Gainsborough and I do better with an experienced kid next to me.”
