A late goal from Phil Trainer has snatched a point for Telford against Lincoln City this afternoon.

Trainer struck with just three minutes remaining when he bundled in after Lincoln had failed to clear a corner.

That cancelled out a stunning goal from Vadaine Oliver on his full debut when he sent a powerful header past Ryan Young just before half-time.

It was no more than Lincoln deserved for their first-half performance in which they created several gilt-edged chances.

    “Hi Franky 68. You stated that none of them were training at Lincoln. Now you say that it is just one that isn't, and he is on the bench for his loan club. I can assure you that the individual you are referring too, does train with Lincoln, injuries permitting. He may well be on the bench for his loan club. However, have you asked yourself why that it is? There could be many reasons for this, just because he is a first year "pro" at Lincoln, doesn't automatically guarantee you a starting place elsewhere does it?”

    “Interesting to get a fan view on him. Fingers crosse he does well and with a few games to get sharpness he comes out well”

    “Apologies eatmygoal he wasn't available for the first game but he was poor on his first start saturday after two sub appearances and was hauled off just after halftime so no doubt in my mind he will be back on the bench on Saturday. I wish him all the best as we need decent goalscorers but i cant see him ever breaking in to our side”

    “Barraclough joined on the 21st August:
    http://tinyurl.com/8wtlgd2

    This means he could play game 2 at a push as had just signed on the day of the game, the next game was 4 days later. So then when he was more settled and up to match fitness he got his full game. You can see the general trend that he was getting more time each game.

    By relying on a source you lose this detail. The added annoyance is calling it a source rather than "my mate who watches them", as if saying source gives it added weight and we should go prostrate before the wisdom of "a source".”

    “Here are the lineups for the games he has been available, he started Saturday for the first time and was substituted early as he was poor. These are the facts! Even if people believe he would make a difference, the fact is he isn't here until January.

    1st game lineup- Jan Budtz; Dominic Roma; Lee Ridley; Luke Waterfall; Greg Young; Michael Leary(Stamp 68); Jonathan D'Laryea; Ryan Williams(Godden 45); Shane Clarke; Paul Connor; Hawkridge(Yates 58);
    2nd game lineup- Jan Budtz, Dominic Roma, Josh Wilde, Luke Waterfall, Greg Young, Michael Leary(Clarke 52), Jonathan D'Laryea, Jamie Yates, Matthew Godden(Stamp 64), Paul Connor, Terry Hawkridge(Barraclough 73
    3rd game lineup- Budtz, Roma, Wilde, Waterfall, Young, Clarke, D'Laryea, Nelthorpe(Barraclough 50), Godden, Stamp(Connor 75), Yates(Leary 50)
    4th game lineup- Trinity; Budtz, Roma, Wilde, Waterfall, Young, Leary, D'Laryea, Clarke, Barraclough(Stamp 53), Connor, Hawkridge”

    “He only went on loan in late August and there have only been 3 games for him to play as a max so hardly been kept on the sidelines. Always best to get the information for yourself, especially when it takes about 5 minutes on line.”

    “Thank you danny, I was certain my information re him was correct. Looks like others have only read one match account, and team line up, I'm much happier now about what I was told, but I would'nt argue over it.”

    “Barraclough hasn't been starting every week far from it, but he did start on Saturday, by all accounts though he has looked poor and out of his depth down there! So not the player to get us 20 a season!”
