A TALENTED opera singer is aiming high in a self-funded concert at Lincoln Drill Hall in Free School Lane.

Angela Ellis (23) is putting on the concert in an attempt to raise money for her post graduate fees at the Royal Northern College of Music.

The show is on April 20 starting at 7.30pm in the Drill Hall cafe bar.

Miss Ellis (left) paid for the concert herself in a bid to get some recognition.

She will also be selling a CD of her work and making a video diary in the run up to the performance.
