To create a festival atmosphere and add colour to the street event, market traders, shop personnel and the Louth community are encouraged to wear Victorian costume.
There will be prizes for the best stall, the best adult and the best child's costumes.
Events organiser Patrick Neville said: "Louth's great strengths as a market town include its wealth of independent, award -winning shops, its regular street markets including the farmers' market and the diversity and quality of its local food produce.
"This has now been recognised nationally in the results of the recent BBC Countryfile Magazine poll where Louth emerged winner over a shortlist of well-publicised towns across Britain.
"It reflects not only Louth's historic charm and shopping offer, but also the hard work put in by the Louth Town Partnership in league with the Town Council and other community groups."
A full programme of entertainment for all ages will continue through the day's activities from 10am-4pm.
The event is supported by the Lincolnshire Victorians who will be running a series of demonstrations throughout the day.
The Victorian Family Fayre has become one of the town's best attended community events with an estimated 4,000 people expected.
