FAMILIES from miles around will flock to Boston's Central Park this Sunday to witness one of the biggest events the town has to offer – the Boston Community Showcase.

The annual Showcase will feature many regular favourites, and some brand new attractions.

There will be a Spider Mountain climbing wall – an eight metre maze featuring seven elasticated webs – as well as train rides around the park and falconry displays.

Visitors will even get the chance to make their lifestyles healthier by visiting the healthy living tent – where they can cycle for glory and make themselves a cool smoothie in the process.

More than 100 local organisations and voluntary groups are attending 2012's Showcase, based in and around the main covered marquee, to provide information on the services they have to offer.

Local radio station Endeavour FM, along with clown and magician Burger Bill, will also be entertaining the crowds. So why not bring all the family along and get involved? You could come away from the event with a tombola prize – or even having joined a new group.

Add to all this fun and excitement two live performance stages, one featuring bands and the other dedicated to dance, and you have a great day out for all the family. There will also be cheap food on offer – with burgers and other tasty treats at just £1.

The event runs from 10am to 4pm with entry and many activities completely free.

Showcase is staged each year in conjunction with Boston Borough Council, Boston Mayflower, Lincolnshire CVS and HMP North Sea Camp – as well as many other community volunteers.

For more information about this year's Showcase call Mandy Exley on 01205 315931 or 07949 541873, or go to www.bostonshowcase. org
