Assault victim left with broken nose and jaw in Holton Le Clay, Lincolnshire

A man has been left with a broken nose and jaw after an assault in Holton Le Clay in Lincolnshire.

The incident occurred outside a pub in the village's Pinfold Lane, shortly after 9pm on Saturday.

The victim, a 53-year-old local man, suffered a fractured jaw, broken nose and numerous lacerations in the attack and required hospital treatment.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievious bodily harm and has been released on police bail until May 19.
