Attic films released on DVD
Family memories filmed and locked away in an attic for almost half a century are providing a fabulous insight into pre-war Lincoln.
The footage, captured on 9.5mm film by North Hykeham resident Maurice Holmes grandfather, forms part of a new DVD, Bygone Lincoln Three.

Alongside the "home movies" the new disc showcases a variety of clips, including Lincoln City's successful promotion push in 1948, and the Queen opening Pelham Bridge in 1958.
Retired Mr Holmes, 69, who inherited the many canisters of film when his grandfather died in 1969, said the movies offered "a real insight into family life".
"Some of it's pre-war," he said, "and other bits are during the war.
"It's quite interesting - it's not something you see every day.
"There's the building of an air raid shelter at a property on the road opposite the Forum shopping centre in North Hykeham.
"And there's a peace march going through the centre of Lincoln, on the High Street, during the Spanish Civil War.
