Award-winning journalists to lecture at University of Lincoln

Award-winning journalists will share their wisdom at a series of free lectures at the University of Lincoln.

War correspondent John Pilger, Channel 4's Dorothy Byrne and eminent press photographer Dr Mike Maloney are among those confirmed for the university's Journalists Speak Out on Journalism series.
Ms Byrne, head of Channel 4's news and current affairs, will be joined by Paris-born freelance journalist Nabila Ramdani on October 29 for a lecture entitled Reporting the Arab Spring in the Co-op lecture theatre.

Mr Pilger, who was chief foreign correspondent at the Daily Mail in the 1960s and has reported from all over the world, will be in conversation with acting head of the university's school of journalism, Professor Richard Keeble, on December 10 in the Jackson lecture theatre.
Both lectures start at 6.15pm.
On October 30, Lincoln-born Dr Maloney, who has been voted press photographer of the year three times, will host his lecture in the EMMTEC auditorium, starting at 6pm.
