Band tunes up for festive dates
A POPULAR brass band has started it's season of Christmas concerts.
Banovallum Brass started their Christmas carol playing at Ingoldmells on December 1 with the first concert of the Christmas season held on Saturday at Tattersahll Castle and Holy Trinity Church.
Now the band is preparing to join with Horncatle and District Choral Society for a feast of festive music on Friday at 7.30pm. Set in the beautiful surroundings of St Mary's Church in Horncastle, both band and choir will be celebrating the Christmas season as they present annual Christmas concerts.
The Christmas programme will consist of festive music to suit all tastes including White Christmas, Gordon Langfords Christmas Fantasy and John Rutters Christmas Lullaby both for band and choir.
