Bankrupt woman's designer goods fetch £100k at auction in Lincolnshire

A PRIVATE collection of designer handbags, jewellery and luxury goods has fetched just £100,000 at auction in Lincolnshire.

The items were being sold off after the woman who owned them was declared bankrupt.

    SOLD: Diane Scott models a Hermes bag, originally valued at around £15,000.

They included 60 handbags, evening bags, purses and wallets by designers ranging from Hermes and Lana Marks to Louis Vuitton, Judith Leiber and Chanel. The handbags originally cost up to £10,000 a time.

There were also 48 jewellery lots by names including Cartier and Tiffany & Co.
