Baseball bat raid on chip shop in Chapel St Leonards

A MAN armed with a baseball bat threatened a chip shop server during an attempted robbery in Chapel St Leonards.

The incident took place around 9pm on Wednesday, September 26 at a chip shop on Trunch Lane.

  1. Lincolnshire Police badge

A man in his teens or 20s, wearing a black hoodie and carrying a baseball bat, entered the shop and demanded money from the female server.

She refused to enter the till and the offender left empty handed.

It is believed a further two males waited outside the shop during the incident.
