Ben Wilson refuses give up on British Supersport title ahead of Cadwell Park
Ben Wilson has vowed not to give up on the British Supersport title until it is mathematically impossible ahead of his home round at Cadwell Park.
The Kirton ace's title hopes were severely dented when he was forced to retire from race two at Oulton Park last time out.
The mechanical gremlin which struck his Gearlink Kawasaki left him 90 points behind team-mate and series leaders Alastair Seeley and 43 off third-placed man Stuart Easton.
With just five rounds left, Wilson is an outsider to end his long search for the Supersport crown.

But the 2011 runner-up is refusing to give up just yet.
Wilson believes a change of luck can turn his season around.
"It's going to be difficult, but I'm not giving up until it's mathematically impossible to win the title," declared Wilson.
"There's nothing wrong with the way I'm riding and I set a new lap record at Oulton Park.
"We've just not had the rub of the green this season. In the second race at Oulton, I was up there and ready to push on, but then I had the problem with the bike.
"Alastair is on a crest of a wave at the moment and credit to him for that.
"But good luck can come to an end, just like bad luck can.
"I just need to make sure I finish ahead of the two guys in front of me as much as possible between now and the end of the season and see where it puts me."
Wilson admits Cadwell is a special meeting for him, but insists he will approach the weekend like any other.
"Cadwell is a special weekend for me and I'll have a few friends and family there.
"But the same amount of points are up for grabs so I'll treat it like a normal weekend."
