The scarecrow competition had an Olympics theme.
The winning scarecrow had been made by the "Scarecrow Alliance", and was a traditional straw figure representing Mo Farah in his classic 'Mo-bot' pose.
The second placed scarecrow was made by Coningsby & Tattershall Lions, in the form of a show jumper on a magnificent five foot tall horse.
All the classes were well-supported and there were some magnificent paintings in the art competition.
Mrs Julie Banks, achieved a hat-trick of wins by taking the Millennium Trophy, awarded to the exhibitor scoring the most points overall in the show. She has won this for the third year running.
The inaugural British Legion Shield, was awarded to Marilyn Casey whose vase of flowers in class 30 was considered to be the entry which best represented the spirit of the British Legion.
