Billy Jackson not taking doubles success for granted
Experience will not guarantee Lincoln's Billy Jackson and David Gourlay doubles glory at the World Championships in Norfolk, the county bowler believes.
Jackson and Gourlay play Australian qualifiers Brett Wilkie and David Casey in tomorrow's quarter-final, having seen off the challenge of John Price and David Axon, from Wales on Tuesday, 8-6, 8-3, writes Chris Brammer.

Jackson and Gourlay are two-time winners of the pairs trophy while their opponents are qualifiers and playing as a pair for the first time.
However, according to Jackson, that counts for nothing.
"The first year myself and David paired together in 2006, we won the World Championship," said Jackson (pictured).
"They have managed to get past a good duo so they are a good team.
"Brett beat me in the International Open in 2008 and went on to finish runner-up, so I know all about him.
"They will have met each other before, but usually with overseas players, the tournament looks at who has qualified for the singles and then pairs the players off accordingly.
"With myself and David, we built up a really good relationship prior to us teaming up.
"He was the first player I came up against after joining the World Bowls Tour in 1998 and we had a few run-ins after that but developed a really good friendship.
"It seemed a natural thing to do."
