With independent reviews of restaurants, pubs and cafes across the UK, food lovers have relied on the Good Food Guide for advice on the best places to eat for almost 60 years.
But this week the guide launched a new iPhone application to allow people to find the best places to eat on the move. The new iPhone application can automatically determine a user's location via GPS technology. No matter where you are in the UK, you'll be able to search for the best dining options by cost, cuisine type, distance from location or by the rating awarded by The Good Food Guide.
You can then use the application to send feedback on your experience, which will be used to update the next edition. The Good Food Guide is compiled every year based on feedback from members of the public and reviews carried out anonymously by a team of inspectors.
For a limited period, the application is 59p and can be downloaded from www.thegoodfoodguide.com
