Boston College students in public "cook off"
Trainee chefs from Boston College are going head to head in a "cook off" using Lincolnshire produce.
Finalists Adam Coote, of Boston, and Kim Mason, of Tattershall, will be asking the public to taste their food after the event on Saturday, October 5.
The contest will take place in front of Boston Stump, in Boston Market Place, from 10am.
NVQ Level 3 catering students were challenged to come up with a recipe for a home-cooked meal using produce from Lincolnshire Co-operative’s Love Local range.
Mr Coote and Miss Mason and their classmates will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of award-winning chef Jason Atherton who trained at Boston College before going on to work with Gordon Ramsay.
