Boston Mayflower chief executive Murray Macdonald said: "We are delighted that we will be sharing premises with Boston's CAB.

"It will enable both organisations to offer a more efficient and coordinated service, better able to serve our customers."

Other benefits of the proposed move are to include the formation of a joint public Community Hub reception in the building, which will be jointly staffed by Boston Mayflower and CAB to provide a better service to more clients and the creation of eleven shared interview rooms.

Chief Executive Officer of Boston's CAB, Stuart Hellon, said: "This is a great move for CAB and the community.

"We will have increased interviewing capacity which, with our on-going partnership working, will allow us the opportunity to provide enhanced services for more people, more of the time."

Boston Mayflower and Boston CAB emphasised that the move would not compromise either organisation's independence, impartiality or integrity.

Work on Chantry House is now underway, with Sleaford's Newman Moore Ltd doing much of the construction work - as well as various local sub-contracted companies.

The 15 week period of works is expected to provide employment for 15 people.
