Boston United 1 Worcester City 1: Half-time report
A defensive disaster from Boston United full-back Peter Bore gifted Worcester City an equaliser four minutes before half-time in their Skrill North clash at the Jakemans Stadium.
Bore was dispossessed by Luke Hubbins, who scampered into the box before squaring for Daniel Nti, who had the simplest of tap-ins.
Marc Newsham had earlier made up for missing a penalty by giving United the lead in the 25th minute. The Pilgrims were awarded spot-kick after Ricky Miller was sent tumbling in the box just past the midway point of the first half.
Following a long wait as Worcester attempted to delay the penalty, Newsham’s tame effort was held by Worcester keeper Jose Veiga.

However, just two minutes later Newsham did find the net. After bringing the ball down superbly in the box, the prolific striker smashed home his third goal of the season.
The Pilgrims dominated the rest of the half and went close to adding a second, but their good work was undone by Bore’s error.
