Boston United make it three wins in a row with hard-fought victory over Sheffield
Spencer Weir-Daley says Boston have got themselves into a "winning habit" after the Pilgrims made it three pre-season wins out of three with a 3-2 victory at Sheffield FC on Saturday.
Strikers Mikel Suarez, Danny Davidson and Weir-Daley all found the net as United followed up the victories over Grimsby Town and Grantham Town, with another pre-season victory.

Boston United's Spencer Weir-Daley, left, celebrates with Anthony Church after scoring the winner from the penalty spot against Sheffield.
"Managers will always play down pre-season games, saying the result isn't important, but the players and the managers want to win because it is good to get into a winning habit," said Weir-Daley.
"We seem to be in a winning habit at the moment which can only be good for the start of the season."
Rob Scott and Paul Hurst's side were made to work hard for the victory by their Evo-Stick Division One (South) opponents.
Boston, who made a number of changes to the starting line-up which beat Grantham in the Lincolnshire Senior Shield quarter-final in midweek, took the lead on 21 minutes.
Simon Ashton's through-ball was flicked on by Miles Hunter and strike partner Suarez drilled the ball home from 12 yards.
Adam Millson, given a place in the starting line-up as he looks to earn a new contract, came close to doubling the lead following a neat one-two with Suarez, but his effort was well saved by Leigh Walker.
The home side equalised on the half-hour mark when Brian Cusworth outjumped James Cullingworth at the back post to power home Chris Adam's cross.
Adam then gave Sheffield the lead with a shot from 20 yards into the bottom corner.
United made a number of substitutions after the break, and it was Davidson, who had replaced Suarez on 62 minutes, who scored the equaliser.
On 77 minutes Davidson rose to thump a header past Walker from Ryan Semple's cross.
Five minutes later Walker made an excellent save to deny Weir-Daley from close range, but then from the subsequent corner Lee Cooksey fouled Anthony Church in the box for a penalty.
Weir Daley stepped up to smashed the spot-kick high into the net for the winner.
"We were not the best in the first half and were 2-1 down at half-time," said Weir-Daley.
"We were a bit sloppy for a period in the first half and they scored twice, but we will learn from that.
"I was always confident that we would get back into the game in the second half and that is what happened."
Weir-Daley's goal on Saturday was the second he has scored from the penalty spot this pre-season, having also netted a late spot-kick against Grantham.
The former Notts County striker has only taken on the responsibility for penalties in the absence of regular taker Marc Newsham through injury.
However, Weir-Daley hopes he can retain the duty when fellow striker Newsham returns.
"Before the pre-season games I hadn't taken a penalty for quite a long time. But with Marc Newsham injured, someone had to step up, and I was happy to do it," he said.
"Marc took the penalties last year and was very good. We'll have to see what happens when he comes back, but I'd like to carry on taking them.
"It has been good to get on the scoresheet twice, but I'd like to get a goal from open play.
"I had a good chance on Saturday but the keeper made an excellent save."
