THE Butterfly Hospice Trust has officially launched a new website.

Skegness-based web design services, Bluecrab, donated their time and expertise to develop the website, www.butterflyhospice.com

The launch of the new site, which offers quick and easy access to information on the Butterfly Hospice Trust, is part of the organisation's ongoing work to enhance the quality and availability of information to the local community.

Head of administration, Sandra White, said: "It was time to take our website to the next level. The new site reflects the thinking and efforts of all the Butterfly Hospice Trust team, including staff, volunteers and trustees, as well as our commitment to being open and accessible to the local community.

"We are extremely grateful to James and Carl from Bluecrab Web Design who have given up so much time to design the new website together with their support for future developments, it has been a pleasure to work with such a professional organisation."

The website features a modern, colourful design and is divided into sections, with each page providing detailed information on various aspects of the Butterfly Hospice Trust together with a photo gallery showing pictures of the Hospice and shops, and photographs from our fundraising events

James Smith and Carl Frost from Bluecrab, said: "The Butterfly Hospice is such a wonderful charity and we were very pleased to offer our services with development of the new website.

"The project was both interesting and emotional and offered us an insight into how much work each member of the Butterfly Hospice team puts in.

"We hope the website serves the hospice well and wish them every success in the future. We would also like to thank Sandra for the constant supply of chocolate, it certainly kept our energy levels up."

Hospice Trustee, Mark Smith, added: "The website needed to offer a more modern and appealing interface into the hospice for South East Lincolnshire and the local communities.

"This has been achieved by means of providing information on who's who in the centre, palliative care services offered, news updates, how to support this local hospice through donations, volunteering as well as current and future charity events."
