"I was a bit nervous before the fight, but I stuck to my gameplan it went really well.
"He (Spencer) didn't really hurt me at all and I caught him with some big shots.
"He was gutsy and kept coming forward, but never really got near me with anything."
After dominating from the first bell, Jenkinson sensed a knockout in the final round.
"I didn't want to go in there gung-ho and leave myself open," added the Bracebridge Boxing Club fighter.
"But I had the fight under control and thought I might be able to stop him in the final round, but he was an experience fighter and kept holding me, which made it difficult.
"I was happy to win the way I did, especially in front of the great support I had.
"It was a wicked feeling at the end of the fight. It was my first pro fight and something I'll never forget.
"I then got to celebrate my 21st birthday straight after so it was a good weekend."
Jenkinson's next opponent is still to be confirmed, but the youngster is keen to stay busy.
"I had a week off after the fight, but I'm back in training now and working hard," he added.
"Hopefully I can have a couple more fights like that to settle me down, then move up in quality. I can't wait for my next fight now."
