Bracebridge councillor Rachel Hubbard resigns due to ill health
A councillor has resigned because of health problems.
Rachel Hubbard has represented Bracebridge on Lincolnshire County Council since 2009.
During her four years in office, councillor Hubbard served as executive support councillor to Peter Robinson, portfolio holder for community safety, and as a member of the economic scrutiny committee.
Executive member Kelly Smith, who is seat holder for Lincoln Moorland, will now represent the ward ahead of the county council election on May 2.
Leader of the council Martin Hill said: “Councillor Hubbard has served her community well and will be a hard act to follow.”
