Jury in Sonny Grey murder trial sent to consider verdict
The jury in the trial of two men accused of murdering Lincoln pensioner Sonny Grey have been sent out to consider their verdict.
Jurors at Nottingham Crown Court were sent out at 11am today.

They will consider whether Rocky Curtis and Robert Holmes are guilty of murder.
Curtis, 25, of Newbridge Lane, Wisbech, and Holmes, 24, of Redmoor Lane, Wisbech deny the charge.

In summing up the case, honourable Mr Justice Saunders told the jury they could consider an alternative charge of manslaughter.
Mr Grey, 70, from Westwick Gardens died on October 31 at City Hospital, Nottingham. Two days earlier he was attacked in his home, suffering 46 injuries, and tortured with boiling hot water from a kettle.
