Bride's father fined for kicking car outside wedding venue in Skegness
A WEDDING turned sour when the father of the bride kicked a car parked outside the venue, causing damage.
Mark Elvin, 42, of Richmond Drive, Skegness, admitted damaging a Ford Fiesta in Skegness on July 17, when he appeared before Skegness Magistrates Court.

Paul Wood, prosecuting, said Elvin was at his daughter's wedding when there was a dispute.
He was restrained by other guests and taken outside to calm down.

As he was being walked up the street, he kicked out at a car which was parked there, damaging two panels.
The owner of the car had no connection with the wedding party.
Elvin told the police he was intoxicated and could not remember doing it.
Mitigating for Elvin, Dave Clapham said he took out his frustration by kicking out at the car.
Magistrates conditionally discharged Elvin for 12 months and ordered he pay £1,186 in compensation.
