Burglars confront woman during Boston break-in
Two teenage burglars confronted a 62-year-old woman during a home invasion in Boston.
The incident took place at around 7:30pm on Thursday evening at a property on Pilley's Lane.
The offenders approached the house from the rear and entered through the back door when the woman was returning inside from the garden.
They confronted her but were disturbed when her husband returned and fled on foot along the railway line towards Tattershall Road and Redcap Lane.

The two males are described as being in their teens, between 16 and 19 years of age. One was 5’8” – 5’ 10” tall wearing a light grey hoodie with the hood up, a dark scarf across his face, black tracksuit bottoms with elasticated ankles and grey or blue lace-up trainers or shoes. The other male was shorter at 5’6”, of thin build, and was dressed entirely in black with his face covered by a balaclava-type garment.
The victim was shocked and distressed but unhurt during the incident.
Anyone who was in the area yesterday evening and who saw two people matching this description, or who has any information about the incident, is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 436 of September 5.
