BURGLARS targeted homes across the county over the Bank Holiday weekend.

In Lincoln, crooks broke into a house in Camdon Close, off Brant Road, on Saturday night, stealing bank cards, wallets, purses, a handbag and keys.

The keys were then used to unlock the owner's car and steal a sat-nav and sunglasses.

The handbag was later found in an alleyway at the back of Camdon Close, but a mobile phone that had been inside it was missing.

Then on Sunday, raiders struck between 10am and 3.15pm in Rasen Lane, Lincoln.

Offenders entered a terraced house by a rear ground-floor window and stole a TV, a digital camera, a laptop and cigarettes.

Two days earlier thieves broke into a property in Sandsfield Lane, Gainsborough.

After gaining entry via a patio door in the conservatory, a purse containing cards and cash, along with car keys, were stolen.

The car keys were then used to steal a blue Ford Focus car, registration NG57 GNN.

Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire Police on 0300 1110300.
