BURGLARS forced open a kitchen door to steal car keys and the car.

The offenders broke into the house in Gainsborough Road in Scotter, near Gainsborough, between 11am and 4.30pm on Monday.

They approached the property from the drive, before going around the back of the house and breaking in.

As well as taking the grey Mercedes CLC Kompressor, registration YT58 UMY, they also took a plasma screen TV and a PlayStation 3.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity, people or vehicles in the area, or has seen the car, should call Lincolnshire Police immediately on 0300 111 0300, stating incident 318 of August 30.
