Burton Road Fish and Chip Shop in Lincoln has won the national prize for having the industry's best chips.
The popular shop was announced as the winner of the Best Chippy Chips title today.

More than 35,000 people voted in the Choice Chip Awards, which aimed to find the tastiest portions in the country.

The award winners, picked from more than 500 shops natiowide, were announced at the start of Chip Week 2013 - a series of events celebrating the fried potato snacks.
Burton Road chippy is holding its own activties every day this week to raise money for UK charity Action for Children.
Run by Potato Council, the Choice Chip Awards honoured the best products across the ten regions of the UK.
Burton Road chippy came out on top after winning the East Midlands round.
