As part of the Secretary of State approval for the underground gas storage facility at Saltfleetby, Wingas has contributed £20,000 to the school.
The plan was to originally extend the school's car park but would have likely have been met with objection from Sports England if it had extended on to the playing field.

The money to the school was in recognition of the impact of lorries passing on Tinkle Street for the construction phase, which has yet to start.
Wingas paid the £20,000 to the school last year.
Following discussions, it was agreed to replace the scheme with an alternative traffic management solution which would achieve a similar outcome to avoid traffic congestion.
The bus lay-by, if approved with be at the frontage of the school on Tinkle Street.
The boundary line of the existing school car park would need to be changed and a new timber open boarded fence erected.
The existing school car park would be marked out to a new arrangement with additional spaces giving a total of 19 car parking spaces.
Debbie Barnes, director of children's services for Lincolnshire County Council, said: "This scheme will improve the flow of traffic on the road outside Grimoldby Primary School by creating a lay-by for parents' cars and the school bus.
"The project has been developed in full co-operation with the school and local community and the parish council.
"If the planning application is successful, work is expected to be carried out around Easter."
