THE campaign to prevent a wind farm being developed in Anderby is gathering momentum.

At a packed Saturday-morning public meeting in the village hall, residents resolved to set up their own lobby group to fight NPower Renewable's proposals for a six-turbine development on land south of Broadgates, off Sea Lane.

They have the full support of their MP, Sir Peter Tapsell, who urged them to draw up a petition because of its "important psychological value".
