Candidates ready to fight it out for Lincolnshire County Council Seat for Nettleham and Saxilby
Voters will go to the polls on Thursday, September 6 in Saxilby and Nettleham.
Residents will elect a new representative on Lincolnshire County Council.
The by-election was called following the death of Liberal Democrat Ray Sellars.
The candidates are: Liberal Democrat Charles Shaw, Conservative Jackie Broadway, Labour's Richard Coupland, UK Independence Party member Howard Thompson, Lincolnshire Independent David Watson and English Democrat Elliott Fountain.

Polls will be open between 7am and 10pm.
The count and announcement of the winner will be made at The Old School, Mill Hill, Nettleham.
Voters can have their say at the following polling stations: The Estate Club, Main Street, Burton; The Woodcocks, Burton Waters; Nettleham Village Hall, Brookfield Avenue, Nettleham; The Old School, Mill Hill, Nettleham; St Luke's Church, Church Lane, North Carlton; 26 Westfield Drive, North Greetwell and The Village Hall, High Street, Saxilby.
Mr Sellars died, aged 72, following a short battle with liver cancer.
He served his county for 11 years and left his wife June, and three children, Anita, Wendy and Mark.
Charles Shaw, who lives in Carholme Road, Lincoln, was chosen by the Liberal Democrats to replace the popular Ray.
"I worked with Ray and he was such a nice and hardworking man," he said.
"It's always a difficult situation when we lose a great councillor who cares for his local community.
"I am passionate about the development of Nettleham and Saxilby, just as Ray was."
There will also be the appointment of a new Nettleham representative for West Lindsey District Council.
Guy Grainger, from Market Rasen, is set to run for the Liberal Democrat Party.
Giles McNeil, from Nettleham, is the Conservative Party candidate, while Howard Thompson, from Claxby, will run for the UK Independence Party.
