Car smash hair salon celebrates refurb
A hair salon where stylists and customers cheated death when a car crashed through the shopfront has now been refurbished.
Hair Lounge, in Redwood Drive, Waddington, is hosting a celebratory open evening from 3pm to 7pm on Friday, November 9. Back in August, hairdressers pulled customers out of the path of an oncoming Vauxhall Corsa.
One stricken client got away in the nick of time before her chair was sent crashing through a mirror and the wall it was fixed to.
And boss Sophie Emmerson shoved one of her girls to safety after she grabbed the car bonnet as it pushed her back through the salon.
