Care services on agenda
THE first full week of council meetings following the Lincolnshire County Council summer recess begins today.
The authority's adults scrutiny committee is meeting from 10.30am in committee room one at County Offices in Newland, Lincoln.
As reported in the Echo, councillors will be discussing potential changes to how much it charges vulnerable adults to use council care services.
An increase in prices could generate an extra £1.8 million a year.
The county council's planning committee is also meeting from 10.30am today in the council chamber at County Offices.
Items on the agenda include consultation feedback to making improvements to Lincoln's High Street, plus plans for a gasification power station in Boston.
