While at the show, Vorderman will also launch a national charity cycle challenge fronted by the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) and Red Arrows.
She said: "I am greatly looking forward to the RAF Waddington Air Show – it promises to be a busy day.
"RAF personnel and their families sacrifice a great deal for their country and I am delighted to support them in any way I can.
"RAF On Air will be a perfect way to let the public see the amazing work of our Armed Forces personnel."
Waddington Air Show director, Paul Sall said he was looking forward to the day.
He said: "I am a great fan of Carol Vorderman, particularly because of her hard work promoting the very important role of the RAF Wings Appeal.
"This is the first year that we are showcasing RAF On Air so to have Carol involved will be a fantastic element of what should be a memorable day for the public."
Vorderman will also launch the RAF Display Teams' Coast-to-Coast Cycle Challenge.
On October 11, a combined team of 20 cyclists from the BBMF and Red Arrows will attempt to cycle the UK at its widest point in just four days.
The project aims to raise more than £50,000 for two charities – the RAF Wings Appeal which offers welfare support to servicemen and Fly2help which is a flying/aviation charity.
