Caught with drugs in cell
A TEENAGER was caught with a bag of cannabis at a police station.
Lauren Shaw was found to be in possession of the drug when brought into custody on a separate matter.
Marie Stace, prosecuting, said Shaw had been brought in to see police on July 12 when an officer discovered she had a small plastic bag.
Shaw, 19, of Spencer Street in Lincoln, admitted possessing cannabis.
Bill Miller, in mitigation, said: "She was being dealt with for an entirely separate matter when a small amount of cannabis was found."
"She is an occasional user of cannabis."
Magistrates fined her £80.
