Chairman of Lincolnshire County Council gets taste of school meals
A SCHOOL meal provider from Ewerby Thorpe welcomed a civic visitor last week, to learn more about how their meals are produced.
Chairman of Lincolnshire County Council, Councillor Ray Wootten and his wife Linda, visited The Farm Kitchen, seeing where the fresh meals are prepared and the high quality ingredients used.
The visit then moved on to award-winning local butcher G Simpson of Heckington where a group of children joined the party to learn how the sausages are made.
They then moved on to Ruskington Chestnut Street Primary School to eat lunch with the children.
