Two county roads get go-ahead to have their speed limits extended
DRIVERS will be required to reduce their speed for longer on two roads in Lincolnshire after changes made in line with the council's speed limit policy.
The reductions were agreed at a planning and regulation committee meeting yesterday.

Despite objections by the Association Of British Drivers, counsellors voted in favour of an extension to the speed limit of 50mph on the A607 and an extension of the 30mph speed limit in Holton Road.
It was proposed to extend the 50mph speed limit on the stretch of road from Harlaxton through Denton on the A607, in light of the accident record in that area.
The Holton Road extension was made in response to local requests.

“Yet another spelling error, it's councillors, not counsellors.
Who is proofreading?”
