A LANDLADY is appealing for help after a band was forced to pull out of a charity event.

Tracie Dixon, who runs the Blacksmith Arms in Bracebridge Heath, needs a band to play at the event – which will raise money for Help for Heroes.

The fundraiser, which will take place on Saturday until 10pm, will also include a charity auction, outdoor bar and bouncy castle, as well as a line-up of bands including Hicksville Bombers and Full Circle.

Ms Dixon said: "One of the bands had to pull out due to one of the members' partners having complications with her pregnancy. We need someone to fill the gap."

Ms Dixon is also appealing for anyone who can volunteer further entertainment services.

She can be contacted on 07517 603447.
