Charred remains of three dogs found in cage at roadside in Lincolnshire
The RSPCA is investigating after the charred remains of three dogs were found in a cage by the side of a road in Lincolnshire. Officers were called to Temple Bruer on December 29 after the grim discovery.
Lincolnshire Police spokesman James Newall said: "A 72-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident and the matter is being investigated by the RSPCA."
